Job Title: Learning and Development Manager

At Old Republic General Insurance Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a critical part in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth by developing and executing learning strategies and programs that align with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute learning strategies and programs that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Assess development needs and track learning effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with department managers and employees to support career development.
  • Manage budgets and cultivate relationships with learning vendors.
  • Design and deliver e-learning and in-person courses, workshops, and other trainings.
  • Evaluate the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Cultivate existing relationships with learning partners and identify new partnerships.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through development and training surveys.
  • Coordinate and schedule learning sessions and maintain documentation related to employee training.
  • Facilitate New Hire Onboarding.
  • Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage quarterly compliance training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience in designing and delivering training in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training.
  • Full understanding and knowledge of various training platforms to engage different learning styles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills and ability to moderate large groups.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and various training platforms.
