We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Briarwood Family Medicine. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to internal medicine patients and their families under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Administer and document medications according to established standards.
- Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations.
- Instruct patients and families according to a teaching plan established by a Registered Nurse.
- Participate in unit staff meetings for problem-solving, planning, and improvement of patient care.
- Graduation from an approved school for practical nursing is necessary.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan is necessary.
