About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Administration Professional to join our team at MIT Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our loan administration department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nationwide real estate and consumer loan portfolio.

Job Summary:

  • This is a full-time position that requires excellent organizational skills, strong computer proficiency, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • You'll be responsible for receiving, monitoring, and releasing vehicle/boat/RV titles, maintaining UCC liens, processing monthly HELOC billing and reconciliation, and monitoring paid ahead loans reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Duties:
  • Monitors and processes UCC liens to safeguard and secure loans
  • Reviews and uploads closing packages to MSS
  • Maintains mortgage pipeline to accurately identify loans for sale to investors
  • Reviews and analyzes New Loans Entered Report and Unapplied Balances Report
  • Processes loan payoff statements and payoffs
  • Generates PIF real estate loans report and drafts Discharges/Lien Releases
  • Analyzes real estate tax documents to create TAR reports
  • Performs quality control checks on real estate tax disbursements
  • Maintains CoreLogic portfolio for accuracy of loan-level data
  • Processes flood insurance, homeowners insurance, private mortgage insurance, and other escrow payments
  • Supports and assists members with insurance claims

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience in banking or credit union
  • One year experience in loan servicing, lending, credit union operations, or related field strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB investor delivery, servicing, and reporting strongly preferred
  • Experience with FISERV DNA core system

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
