Senior Administrative Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant 2 to join our team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL). As an administrative professional, you will play a critical role in supporting two faculty members with various financial, administrative, and media responsibilities.
About the RoleThis position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment, collaborating with experts in microsystems technology. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional administrative support, including process management, documentation, and data entry.
Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Managing calendars and scheduling appointments;
- Preparing and submitting reports and documents;
- Coding and categorizing files for easy retrieval;
- Coordinating travel arrangements and expense reports;
- Providing general administrative assistance to the faculty members.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, communications, or a related field;
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
