Position Summary:
The Supervisor, Direct Sales is tasked with developing and overseeing a local sales team within Ziply's Residential Sales Organization. This role encompasses teams that engage in door-to-door sales in residential neighborhoods, multi-family units, and small to mid-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing sales team of over 10 Direct Sales Account Executives.
- Collaborate with the Sales Trainer to create e-learning and classroom training materials.
- Organize community engagement events as new fiber service areas are introduced.
- Assist in establishing new reporting processes for the sales team.
- Achieve and surpass monthly sales performance targets across all responsible sales channels.
- Analyze sales performance data in collaboration with the BI team.
- Develop and track sales performance metrics.
- Work with the marketing team to strategize and create communication materials.
- Manage financial responsibilities including tracking operational expenses and processing reimbursements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and apply critical thinking for strategic analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the telecom industry.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong financial analysis and project management skills.
- Ability to make data-driven business decisions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess reliable transportation and be willing to travel as necessary.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include the ability to bend, stoop, sit, walk, or stand for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position involves driving within a designated region.
Work Environment:
This role is primarily performed in an office environment with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
