Position Summary:

The Supervisor, Direct Sales is tasked with developing and overseeing a local sales team within Ziply's Residential Sales Organization. This role encompasses teams that engage in door-to-door sales in residential neighborhoods, multi-family units, and small to mid-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing sales team of over 10 Direct Sales Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Trainer to create e-learning and classroom training materials.
  • Organize community engagement events as new fiber service areas are introduced.
  • Assist in establishing new reporting processes for the sales team.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly sales performance targets across all responsible sales channels.
  • Analyze sales performance data in collaboration with the BI team.
  • Develop and track sales performance metrics.
  • Work with the marketing team to strategize and create communication materials.
  • Manage financial responsibilities including tracking operational expenses and processing reimbursements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and apply critical thinking for strategic analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the telecom industry.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong financial analysis and project management skills.
  • Ability to make data-driven business decisions.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and be willing to travel as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.

This position involves driving within a designated region.

Work Environment:
