School Nutrition Supervisor

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Colquitt County Schools as a School Nutrition Supervisor. As a key member of the school nutrition team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school cafeteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the manager in overseeing the daily operations of the school cafeteria, including food preparation, serving, and sanitation.
- Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
- Perform various duties as assigned by the head cook or school administration, including meal management, employee scheduling, and production supervision.
- Ensure that all food is properly stored or disposed of, and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
- Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement production and cleaning schedules, and ensure timely and accurate reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and parents, and maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
- Participate in workshops and staff development activities to enhance knowledge and skills, and apply new learning to the job.
- Assume responsibility for all aspects of job responsibilities, and perform routine duties with minimal supervision.
Requirements
