We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cafeteria Custodian to join our team at Colquitt County Schools. As a key member of our School Nutrition Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our cafeteria facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria facilities, including the dish room, storage areas, and kitchen bathrooms.
- Operate and maintain a commercial dishwasher, ensuring it is functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in stocking and rotating stock, ensuring that products are stored in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Assist with food preparation and service setup, including unloading and cleaning milk coolers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Director of School Nutrition.
- Valid Driver's License
- Clear Criminal Background Check
- Able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
- Experience in performing custodial duties preferred and beneficial
