Senior Manager for large reputable Financial Services firm in DTLA

Our client, a leading Financial Services firm with over $100B AUM, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their Finance and Fund Accounting Team in Downtown Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books and records for various funds within the Global Private Debt business.
- Account for and reconcile cash and investments, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions, as well as estimate and post monthly closing accruals.
- Partner with the corporate actions team to review and account for complex corporate actions.
- Prepare and review complex management fee and waterfall calculations, as well as allocations of income and expense to each partner.
- Determine and prepare distributions and capital calls, ensuring compliance with governing documents.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, analyzing and calculating performance metrics.
- Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Document processes and internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA certification preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, with a Big Four public accounting background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis, with technical accounting skills and the ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rules.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
