Situated in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, The Wayfarer DTLA is ideally located to cater to a diverse range of clientele.
Our unique food and beverage options, including a premier rooftop bar, alongside a robust event and activation schedule for all venues, position The Wayfarer to attract both local residents and visitors to the downtown area.
The Wayfarer embodies a dynamic, lifestyle-oriented, and unconventional ambiance.This contemporary hotel design aims to enrich the experience of independent and inquisitive travelers through a variety of flexible and communal public spaces, local art exhibitions, and interactive features that encourage exploration and a deeper appreciation of the locale.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property guidelines.
- Consistently maintain a welcoming, friendly, and respectful demeanor, providing personalized service to hotel guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Perform cleaning of guest rooms in line with Company standards, including bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, thorough bathroom sanitation, wall wiping, and more.
- Complete room cleaning within the time-per-room benchmarks established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
- Adhere to Company protocols regarding room amenities.
- Promptly report any items found in guest rooms to the manager.
- Ensure the security of the master room key at all times. Return it at the end of the shift and do not remove it from the property.
- Report any urgent maintenance issues that require immediate attention.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Notify the Executive Housekeeper of any missing or found items or damages.
- Support fellow team members and departments to improve overall department and hotel performance.
- Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by management.
This role offers a 401k plan, vacation and sick leave, and a Team Member Travel Program that encourages staff to explore sister properties at discounted rates for relaxation and leisure.
