Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Tyson Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including repairs and replacements as needed
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment is properly maintained
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on new technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PLCs and I/O systems
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues
