Jenrick Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the food production sector. This role involves a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off, covering both day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and food processing/packaging machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and breakdowns to reduce production interruptions.
- Adjust and fine-tune mechanical settings to optimize equipment efficiency.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to assess parameters such as vibration, temperature, pressure, and parts per million (PPM).
- Identify and implement improvements in equipment operation through mechanical adjustments.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and production standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical repairs within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
Competitive salary of £48,000 per annum.
