We are seeking a highly accomplished AI/ML Engineer to join our team at GSK, a global biopharma company dedicated to getting ahead of disease together. As a key member of our AI/ML Sequence Learning Team, you will apply machine learning and AI methods to biological sequence data from large-scale human genetic, functional genomic, and single-cell experiments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply machine learning and AI methods to biological sequence data to infer how variants alter protein/RNA abundance, structure, and function.
  • Develop and deploy high-performing AI/ML models in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into our product pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply them to our research and development efforts.
Requirements
  • Graduate studies in Computer Science or Applied Math, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in software engineering with Python.
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other deep learning frameworks.
  • Experience in ML stack.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science.
  • Knowledge in disease biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
  • Experience with biological data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics).
  • Understanding and application of best practices in Machine Learning.
  • Track record of contributing to open-source projects.

We offer a competitive annual base salary ranging from $130,900 to $177,100, an annual bonus, and eligibility to participate in our share-based long-term incentive program.
