About the Department

The Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ETI) department is where new and bold products are built and released within Cloudflare. We're a team of curious and passionate individuals who are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that make a real impact.

About the Team

The Workers AI team is responsible for deploying AI inference on the GPUs within Cloudflare's network, as well as building innovative features that enable developers to incorporate AI into their own products. We're a team with a diverse array of technical skills, and we're looking for a talented AI/ML engineer to join us.

What You'll Do

As a member of the Workers AI team, you'll be responsible for leading the development of AI/ML models and deploying them on Cloudflare's network. You'll work closely with our team of engineers and researchers to design and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior engineers on the team.

Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Experience leading a team that provides AI and ML inference
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and short release cycles
  • Expert-level knowledge in Python for AI development, particularly PyTorch or TensorFlow
