Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technical Lead to lead our talented engineering team in building innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the technical strategy for AI/ML and data processing initiatives, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and career development support.
  • Develop and execute the technical strategy for AI/ML and data processing initiatives, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, data innovation, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Design, oversee, and implement scalable AI/ML systems, ensuring best practices in model development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from conception to deployment and monitoring, establishing metrics, KPIs, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in both model performance and team operations.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies, evaluating their potential application within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members and driving process enhancements.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development and large-scale data processing systems, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face) and data processing systems design.
  • Experience with data transformation tools, automated data pipelines, and backend services.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain AI/ML systems, including High Availability and High Scalability solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, GitHub, AWS, and cloud infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience with NLP, computer vision, web crawling, and big data technologies (e.g., GCP BigQuery, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with MLOps and DevOps practices, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Experience with test automation, system design patterns, and performance optimization.

Compensation

The base salary for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
