About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team at Dealpath, a leading real estate investment management platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering best-in-class solutions for the Commercial Real Estate industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of innovators, utilizing your NLP expertise to define, explore, build, and deliver state-of-the-art ML solutions for document processing and search. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, to define, build, and adapt ML solutions to enhance our customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality NLP solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other deep learning frameworks.
  • Build robust data and ML pipelines for production scale and performance.
  • Develop tools to evaluate and monitor model performance and accuracy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on the product roadmap.
  • Lead evaluation, prototype, and integration of various Open and Closed source LLM in a privacy-preserving manner.
  • Monitor ML pipelines to detect performance, data, and model drift.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, NLP, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with prior experience implementing NLP at an enterprise level company.
  • Experience with one or more deep learning frameworks/Tools such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
  • Experience working with and fine-tuning existing models, especially from Hugging Face.
  • Experience translating AI/ML solutions from prototype to production scale.
  • Excellent communication and strong organizational skills with a keen eye for details.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building semantic search engines/vector search (preferably with Elasticsearch).
  • Design and implement data pipelines for information retrieval, data processing, and data transformation.
  • Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) experience.
  • Experience with LLM like GPT, Gemini, Anthropic, Open AI Models and ecosystems like Groq, Together.AI, etc.
  • Awareness about model bias and ability to resolve this.
