Residential Care Professional

About the Role
The Residential Care Professional is responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents in a residential setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services that promote resident well-being and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), individual plan goal activities, socialization, development and communication skills, and habilitation skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in routine residence maintenance, as assigned, and take responsibility for safeguarding and proper handling of residents' belongings and funds.
- Document resident electronic health records accurately and timely, including periodic status assessments, daily task analysis charts, and other required records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain effective communication within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for Network Human Services' auto insurance required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Prior experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a residential care setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in physical activities as required by the role.
Salary Information
$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
