About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Specialist to join our team at Network Human Services.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This role involves working closely with the Manager and Lead Direct Support Staff to develop and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Direct Resident Care: Participate in all aspects of resident care, including activities of daily living (ADL), individual plan goal activities, socialization, development and communication skills, and habilitation skills.
  • Residence Maintenance: Contribute to routine residence maintenance, as assigned, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately document resident and residence electronic health records, including periodic resident status assessments, daily task analysis charts, and ongoing inter-staff communication.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required; medication certification and First Aid/CPR training necessary.
  2. Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information.
  3. Physical Demands: Must be physically able to assist participants when necessary, including lifting and using adaptive equipment.
Work Schedule

Monday: 6:00am - 9:00am
Tuesday: 6:00am - 9:00am/1:30pm - 9:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00am - 9:00am

Salary Information

Estimated salary: $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
