Job Description

The Senior Residential Care Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents. This position involves developing and maintaining relationships with residents, managers, colleagues, agency nurses, behaviorists, family members, and healthcare consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Participate in direct resident care, including daily living activities, medical procedures, and behavioral interventions">
  • Maintain the residence, including cleaning, laundry, and organization">
  • Safeguard residents' belongings and funds, ensuring their financial security">
  • Document electronic health records, accurately recording resident progress and care plans">
  • Attend staff in-service training and meetings, staying up-to-date on industry best practices">
  • Assist with medication administration, following established protocols">
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents with diverse needs">
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and effective teamwork">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent">
  • Medication certification, demonstrating your ability to handle controlled substances">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues">
  • Maturity and discretion when handling confidential information">
  • First Aid, CPR, and Abuse/Neglect certification">
  • Basic computer skills, with experience using electronic health records">
  • A valid Connecticut Driver's License, ensuring safe transportation for residents">
  • Eligibility for Network, Inc.'s auto insurance">
