We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager, Ambulatory Access to join our team at UW Health. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

About the Role:

  • Cultivate team engagement and a culture of excellence through active coaching and mentoring for supervisors and their teams.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, leaders, and providers to ensure success of the ambulatory access program in multiple specialties.
  • Manage projects for system level strategic initiatives related to access and patient scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Minimum –Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Preferred – Master's degree in business, healthcare or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a health care setting with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a leadership role.
  • Preferred – Supervisory experience in Access Services, Registration, Patient Accounting, or Clinic Operations
  • Preferred – Certification in Epic Prelude and/or Cadence
  • Preferred – Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile, other)
  • Preferred – Lean Six Sigma Certification
