Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team at Truck Country of Wisconsin, Inc. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair engine, driveline, and ABS-related issues using sound mechanical knowledge and computer-based diagnostic programs
  • Perform routine maintenance checks, including inspecting brake systems, wheel bearings, electrical systems, and air systems
  • Repair and maintain customer equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools
  • Examine parts for defects and excessive wear

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a technician
  • Ability to display knowledge of diesel and gas engines
  • Ability to display knowledge of repair procedures
