Job Summary

The Super Heavy Haul Truck Driver position is a critical role within our organization, requiring a high level of expertise and experience in transporting oversized and heavy loads. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of heavy haulage equipment, including trucks and trailers, to transport oversized and heavy loads.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage electronic logs and maintain accurate records of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.
  • Secure cargo for transport, using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage or loss.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and improve transportation processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the industry or related industry.
  • Valid commercial driver's license and DOT medical card.
  • TWIC license or ability to acquire.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel and may involve working in a variety of environments, including construction sites and industrial facilities. The noise level in the work environment can be loud, and the employee may be exposed to dust, fumes, and other hazardous materials.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and walking. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
