Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute various cooking and food preparation methods, including sanitizing, grilling, broiling, frying, cutting, weighing, measuring, chopping, baking, and sautéing.
  • Organize and maintain order in walk-in coolers, reach-in refrigerators, and all dry storage areas within the kitchen.
  • Carry out daily opening and closing cleaning tasks in the kitchen.
  • Deliver guest service in accordance with company standards while interacting with guests or collaborating with team members, including initiating guest interactions, addressing inquiries, and providing directions.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the designated work area, adhering to safety guidelines and reporting any unsafe or unusual conditions to management.
  • Meet scheduling availability requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to fulfill business needs.
  • Comply with attendance policies as outlined by the company.
  • Follow company rules of conduct, including specific grooming and costuming standards as detailed in employee guidelines and other relevant policies.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a cooking role is preferred.
  • Ability to follow recipes, food preparation instructions, and production guidelines.
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
  • Must be able to pass a background check if 18 years or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, in accordance with company policy, unless restricted by law.
