Job Overview

Cynet Systems is seeking a Healthcare Communications Lead to join our dynamic team.

Position Title: Healthcare Communications Lead

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: $112/hr - $115/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the strategic development of medical communications.
  • Analyze and interpret scientific data to create comprehensive, credible, and compliant documents for effective communication with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of medical communications, ensuring timely submissions to journals, publications, and presentations at congresses.
  • Adhere to established good publication practices (GPP3, ICMJE) while executing the publication strategy.
  • Manage multiple projects, providing solutions to complex challenges while delivering accurate information within set timelines.
  • Support the communication of oncology strategies to healthcare providers, payers, and decision-makers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams regarding communication landscapes, publication planning, and data dissemination.
  • Develop content deliverables for field medical and HEOR use, including training materials and FAQs to address healthcare provider inquiries.
  • Stay informed on current industry practices related to Medical Communications and Access Scientific Content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure consistent messaging and communication of medical information.
  • Support the global standardization of medical content to enhance efficiency and reduce redundancies.
  • Facilitate effective communication rollouts, implement feedback mechanisms, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in content development.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas to provide exceptional medical communication support.
  • Manage partnerships with vendor agencies to ensure successful planning and execution of publication and content deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent qualifications.
  • 3-4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry with a focus on medical communications.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, solve problems, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to drive performance and foster collaboration.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across various markets and global regions.
  • Experience in medical communications throughout all phases of drug development and commercialization.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret clinical trial data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in solid tumor oncology.
  • In-depth knowledge of Good Publication Practices, Sunshine Act, and Pharma Code of Conduct.
  • Understanding of clinical trial design, statistical methods, and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications and publication management tools.
