**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our payment platform development team in Luxembourg. As a key member of our Escalion team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-availability services, researching and implementing emerging technologies, and maintaining services to ensure high performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement high-availability services to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable payment processing.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to improve system performance and security.
  • Maintain services to ensure they operate with high performance and meet strict security requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality results and support business decision-making through technical expertise.
  • Provide constructive feedback on technical solutions and drive the tech community within the organization.
  • Continuously learn and enhance your skills to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

**Requirements**

  • Strong background in application and tool development, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in creating secure and scalable systems, modernizing legacy processes via automation, and proficiency with Linux and command line interfaces.
  • Relentless about testing and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of audited and efficient SDLC.
  • Experience with technologies such as SQL, Elasticsearch, and message queues, as well as building containers, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
