Program Management Specialist

Overview:

PACCAR is seeking a dedicated Program Management Specialist to join our Advanced Analytics team within the Powertrain division. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical engineering background who are passionate about data science and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new components for predictive analysis by collaborating with mechanical engineers and data scientists.
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the successful execution of programs.
  • Coordinate efforts to make predictive insights accessible to various stakeholders.
  • Establish and assess key performance indicators to understand their influences and implications.
  • Take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining insightful dashboards and visual representations of data.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, translating intricate findings into understandable narratives.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with diesel engine technology and emissions regulations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A proven ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving and timely task completion.

Preferred:

  • A solid grasp of analytical techniques and statistical methods.
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive exploratory data analysis.
  • Knowledge of emissions compliance regulations.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
