Program Management Specialist

Overview:
PACCAR is seeking a dedicated Program Management Specialist to join our Advanced Analytics team within the Powertrain division. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical engineering background who are passionate about data science and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding of new components for predictive analysis by collaborating with mechanical engineers and data scientists.
- Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the successful execution of programs.
- Coordinate efforts to make predictive insights accessible to various stakeholders.
- Establish and assess key performance indicators to understand their influences and implications.
- Take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining insightful dashboards and visual representations of data.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, translating intricate findings into understandable narratives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with diesel engine technology and emissions regulations.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- A proven ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving and timely task completion.
Preferred:
- A solid grasp of analytical techniques and statistical methods.
- Experience in conducting comprehensive exploratory data analysis.
- Knowledge of emissions compliance regulations.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
