We are seeking a skilled Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at Sentara Martha Jefferson. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive vascular testing procedures and writing preliminary interpretations.
Responsibilities- Perform non-invasive vascular testing procedures, including ultrasound and Doppler studies
- Write preliminary interpretations of test results
- Assist physicians in determining appropriate testing based on clinical assessment and symptoms
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound technology with Vascular or Ultrasound/vascular technology
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification
- Minimum 12 months of vascular testing experience with performance of at least 600 non-invasive vascular examinations under supervision
- Tuition Assistance - $5,250 per year
- Student Debt Pay Down - $10,000
- Reimbursement for certifications and free access to complete CEUs and professional development
- Emergency Backup Care - 10 days
- Paid Parental Leave - up to 4 weeks
- Family Caregiver Leave - 2 weeks
