Job SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, EKGs, and other imaging modalities, in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, EKGs, and other imaging modalities, in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.
- Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment at patients' bedsides or other designated exam settings.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams.
- Transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner according to company protocols.
- Complete all forms and maintain records, visit logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment and systems as directed by management or Service Department personnel.
- Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R) or state x-ray license (if applicable).
- Have a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
