Position Overview

ASR International is in search of a qualified Construction Management Representative/Engineer II who possesses a Top-Secret clearance or the capability to obtain one. This prestigious role involves providing construction management expertise to government project teams engaged in construction, rehabilitation, and restoration initiatives at significant federal sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the activities of various construction contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of ongoing projects, monitoring progress and workmanship to ensure adherence to contract documents.
  • Communicate promptly with government representatives regarding any observed issues or safety concerns.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings between government officials and construction contractors, preparing detailed minutes and reports.
  • Maintain daily logs and weekly reports documenting project status and issues.
  • Provide technical support to government project teams, reviewing submittals and ensuring compliance with management plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluate contractor claims and assist in resolving disputes that may arise during the construction process.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Top-Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction management or engineering, particularly in federal projects.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple construction trades and coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent government interests professionally.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, including Primavera and Microsoft Office Suite.
