Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Vantage Construction Corp. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction interior tenant fit-outs and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Senior Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, including managing field staff, subcontractors, and materials deliveries. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing project mobilization plans, reviewing plans and specs for scope and constructability, and ensuring that all projects are completed in accordance with safety standards and company policies.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction management principles, including project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project mobilization plans
  • Review plans and specs for scope and constructability
  • Manage field staff, subcontractors, and materials deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Develop and maintain harmonious relations with owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction interior tenant fit-outs
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • OSHA Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification
