ElevatePFS is a leading provider of patient financial solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Patient Advocate to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for connecting uninsured hospital patients with programs that cover their medical expenses. This will involve working as a liaison between the patient, the hospital facility, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screening uninsured hospital patients to determine eligibility for federal, state, and county medical or disability assistance.
  • Completing applications and following up on approvals.
  • Detailed documentation in company systems and hospital systems.
  • Providing exceptional customer service skills.
  • Participating in ongoing trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Maintaining work queues and collaborating with hospital staff.
  • Answering phone calls, making outbound calls, and tracking paperwork for Medicaid patients.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and prior hospital experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) and fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $23-$26 per hour.
