Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent who embodies a true passion for the hospitality sector and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome each guest warmly, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across various departments.
  • Manage all guest interactions, both in-person and via phone, demonstrating the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Facilitate the check-in process, ensuring guests receive the room type they requested at the correct rate.
  • Coordinate luggage delivery to guest rooms as required.
  • Issue accurate room keys to guests.
  • Oversee the check-out process, confirming guest satisfaction and processing payments.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and handle financial transactions accurately.
  • Ensure all transactions are reconciled at the end of each shift.
  • Create a welcoming and helpful environment that reflects our commitment to exceptional service.
  • Assist with reservations, modifications, and cancellations when necessary.
  • Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, directing them to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Understand and utilize the hotel’s Property Management System effectively.
  • Be knowledgeable about all hotel services, facilities, and amenities.
  • Comprehend fire and safety protocols to assist guests and staff during emergencies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and other relevant discussions as required.

Core Competencies

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience of three (3) years in hospitality or a related service industry.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera PMS.
  • Positive demeanor and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
