Job Description

At Legent Health, we're seeking an exceptional Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled RN with 2-3 years of experience in critical care nursing. The ideal candidate will have excellent cognitive skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Salary:$85,000 - $115,000 per year

Location:Texas and Florida areas, including San Antonio, Austin, Plano, and more

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patients' admission processes to the preoperative department
  • Assess patients' health status and ensure accuracy of identification wristbands
  • Ensure operative and informed consents are in order
  • Determine the surgeon and procedure being carried out
  • Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedures
  • Initiate IVs and inform patients about the procedure and attending medical staff

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and active CPR certification
  • Current and valid nursing license, in good standing with the State licensing board
  • 2-3 years' experience as a registered nurse in critical care
