Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at HEALTH EXPRESS CLINICS NETWORK PLLC. This role will involve providing high-quality patient care in a primary care setting.

About the Role
  • This is a part-time position, with approximately 22-25 hours worked per week.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic or chronic illnesses in a primary care setting.
  • Prescribing necessary medications and treatments as required.
  • Performing comprehensive physical examinations of patients to determine their health status.
  • Developing and implementing patient management policies and procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
  • Seeing 16-18 patients per day, with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
