As a Nurse Care Specialist for Anesthesia Recovery at Surgical Care Affiliates, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort during their recovery from anesthesia. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes, and we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to join our preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).

Job DescriptionThis position involves promoting the mission, vision, and values of SCA while assessing patient's preoperative and postoperative status. You will be responsible for interpreting information accurately from various non-invasive and invasive monitors, describing the underlying pathophysiology of commonly encountered disease processes, and applying relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria for patient transfer. Additionally, you will develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care, implement interventions to maintain patient safety and comfort, and provide education to patients and their families regarding expected responses to the operative or invasive procedure.
