About the Role

A prominent healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled Rheumatologist to become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary practice.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess a robust work ethic, be results-driven, and excel in a high-energy environment. Patient referrals will be generated from both internal sources and external networks.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited medical institution and completion of residency
  • Active medical license in Florida
  • Board certification or eligibility in rheumatology
  • Current DEA certification
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive rheumatology care, including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and discharge processes
  • Facilitate patient referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and legal documentation in patient records as per departmental guidelines
  • Engage in continuing education to remain updated on advancements in rheumatology
  • Ensure accurate coding, prior authorization for procedures, and thorough documentation of all patient encounters
  • Comply with state and facility telehealth regulations, if applicable
