Position Summary

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding patient care through the execution of high-quality CT imaging. The ideal candidate should possess ARRT certification in CT and hold a valid state license. Your responsibilities will include operating CT machinery, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining precise documentation of procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT imaging on patients following physician directives and departmental guidelines.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Confirm patient identity and validate the necessity of the requested imaging.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, providing clear explanations of the procedure.
  • Operate and uphold CT equipment, including performing routine quality assurance checks.
  • Monitor patients during imaging sessions and address any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of patient data, imaging results, and radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to evaluate image quality and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff, and yourself.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay informed about advancements in CT technology and best practices in radiologic imaging.
Qualifications
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Previous experience in a CT Technologist role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
