We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional for the role of Senior Manager, Taxation. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Global Taxation.
The Senior Manager, Taxation will operate within a dynamic and fast-paced tax landscape, taking charge of the preparation and execution of all tax compliance-related tasks and initiatives. This role involves collaboration with various members of the finance team and other business units to contribute to the overall success of Intapp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Guarantee timely and precise filing of all tax returns and associated documentation.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of the Tax general ledger.
- International Tax Management:
- Supervise international tax compliance and reporting, including transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, and international tax treaties.
- Tax Provision Preparation:
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax positions and disclosures in financial statements.
- Indirect Tax Oversight:
- Manage indirect taxes, including sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and other transaction-based taxes.
- Audit and Risk Management:
- Establish robust internal controls to mitigate tax risks and support audit requirements.
- Prepare SOX documentation and assist with financial statement audits.
- Special Projects:
- Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing and research and development tax studies.
- Conduct ad hoc research and participate in additional special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with operational and corporate finance teams.
- Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dynamic and adaptable team player capable of thriving in a changing environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work with integrity and efficiency.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA, JD, Master's Degree, or equivalent advanced education preferred.
- A minimum of twelve years of relevant tax experience, including five years in public accounting.
