Job Role Overview:
We are seeking a Stagehand Specialist I to contribute to our production team As a key member of our team, you will assist in executing performance tracks, setting up special events, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions between shows.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the setup and strike of scenes, re-arranging scenery, lighting, and other technical elements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to execute performance tracks, ensuring smooth transitions between shows.
- Participate in workshops, rehearsals, and performances, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Maintain and install theatrical rigging systems, following established safety guidelines.
- Provide technical support during performances, responding promptly to requests and concerns.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in theatre technology or related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and hardware, including computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting tools.
- Excellent physical stamina, with capacity to lift, bend, and move heavy equipment.
Salary Estimate:$58,000 per annum (based on location and experience)
