As a Banquets Server, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up coffee breaks, carts, and stations according to the Banquet Event Order.
  • Preparing tables, action stations, buffets, and service carts to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Communicating specific meal requirements, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen staff.
  • Clearing courses and ensuring tables are properly maintained throughout events.
  • Replenishing buffet items to maintain presentation quality and freshness.
  • Monitoring tableware for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized service area.
  • Bus tables by removing and separating various types of tableware.

Compliance and Standards

Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security. Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management. Ensure your appearance is professional and maintain confidentiality of company information.


Guest Interaction

Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating their needs and providing assistance as required. Communicate effectively with guests and team members, ensuring a high standard of service.


Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
  • Moving, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Performing tasks that require fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to navigate various surfaces and environments.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Less than one year of related experience.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
