Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Honolulu office. As part of the Civil Group, the successful candidate will assist in managing projects from design conception through construction close out on a wide variety of project types, including port/marina infrastructure, roadways, buildings, airports, bridges, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing multi-discipline project design teams for projects across the Pacific, including subconsultants, and establish priorities, schedules, and scope of work
  • Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline projects with varying degrees of technical complexity
  • Prepare/review engineering scopes of work and budgets/estimates for proposals and track budget and schedule status throughout the course of each project
  • Monitor scope of work and scope changes
  • Interface with clients as needed for successful project delivery
  • Communicate with staff and subconsultants to establish work priorities for projects
  • Complete construction projects by preparing engineering design and documents and confirming specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering from an accredited university degree program
  • 6+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer
  • Competence in general civil engineering design, including roadway, paving, grading, drainage, H&H, water, and sanitary sewer
  • Ability to plan, schedule work, and complete work assignments within established budgets and timelines
  • Software proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Moffatt & Nichol offers a competitive base salary range of $104,560 to $127,796, based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualifications in the job description.
