Automation Equipment Specialist

As an Automation Equipment Specialist at Technimark, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production area by maintaining and improving automation equipment. This includes troubleshooting complex servo driven systems, vacuum circuits, and PLC controlled machines, as well as reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including complex servo driven systems, vacuum circuits, and PLC controlled machines.
- Maintain and improve existing automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in production start-ups and changeovers as related to automation equipment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Learn and implement new automation technologies and equipment.
- Assist engineering and other departments with implementation and installation of new jobs.
- Order parts and materials for equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn injection molding equipment, assembly processes, and automation equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer experience.
