Senior Spare Parts Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Service and Spare Parts Manager to lead our team in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our cutting-edge machinery in the packaging and pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spare Parts Management: Utilize CAD files (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and old Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify and source spare parts for our robotic and automated systems.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to obtain quotes for spare parts, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery to minimize downtime.
- Technical Support: Provide remote troubleshooting support to customers and internal teams over the phone or via video conferencing to resolve machine issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure spare parts meet quality standards and specifications, collaborating with engineering teams to validate compatibility and functionality.
- Expense Management: Manage expenses related to spare parts procurement and service operations, utilizing expense reporting systems to track and report expenditures accurately.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of service technicians and parts specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance technical proficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a strong technical aptitude in robotics and automation systems.
- Proven experience in spare parts management, preferably within the robotics or automation industry, with proficiency in reading CAD files (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Experience in expense management and familiarity with expense reporting systems to track and report expenditures effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues remotely and provide clear instructions to resolve technical problems over the phone.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to deliver exceptional service.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
