Job Summary

As a Calibration Technician II at SIG SAUER, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment
  • Set up and operate laboratory equipment to test and evaluate instruments and test equipment
  • Disassemble and inspect instruments and equipment for defects and measure parts for conformity with specifications
  • Align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry
  • Reassemble and calibrate instruments and equipment
  • Develop and implement test and calibration plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with calibration software
  • Superior knowledge of GD&T and mathematical aptitude
