As a Calibration Technician II at SIG SAUER, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment
- Set up and operate laboratory equipment to test and evaluate instruments and test equipment
- Disassemble and inspect instruments and equipment for defects and measure parts for conformity with specifications
- Align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry
- Reassemble and calibrate instruments and equipment
- Develop and implement test and calibration plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with calibration software
- Superior knowledge of GD&T and mathematical aptitude
