Job Summary

As an Electronics Maintenance Specialist at SubCom, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and inspecting electronic systems and devices. You will troubleshoot process and product issues, calibrate electronic instrumentation, and ensure all database information and reporting is accurate.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot industrial electronic equipment using scopes, meters, and other types of electronic test equipment
• Calibrate electronic instrumentation and sensing equipment used to monitor cable manufacturing processes
• Install and repair camera, paging, and speaker systems throughout the facility
• Ensure all database information and reporting is timely and accurate
• Collaborate with other trades, manufacturing personnel, engineers, and supervisory personnel to develop and implement changes to electronic components and modify operation of process control equipment

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronic technology or automation experience
• At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic equipment
• Ability to use mechanical and electrical measuring equipment
• Detailed and methodical approach to problem solving
• Experience with electronic instrument calibration programs and using NIST standards for calibrations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to react to changes of responsibility throughout the shift
