Job Title: Calibration Technician II

At SigSauer, we are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician II to join our team. This role is responsible for testing and calibrating electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment.
  • Set up and operate laboratory equipment to test and calibrate instruments and equipment.
  • Disassemble and inspect instruments and equipment for defects.
  • Measure parts for conformity with specifications.
  • Align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry.
  • Reassemble and calibrate instruments and equipment.
  • Develop and implement formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and mathematical aptitude.
  • Experience with Gagetrak calibration software or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
