Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and making recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Support inventory management, receiving shipments, and stocking shelves to maintain a well-stocked store.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and drive business results.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
