Customer Service Representative Job Description

Regency Furniture is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of customer calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Support sales staff by finalizing tickets quickly and efficiently
  • Handle customer concerns in person and over the phone
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of policies and procedures
  • Review and edit customer orders
  • Create and maintain various delivery and service data
  • Dispatch drivers
  • Provide thorough explanations to customers about estimate times during the process
  • Provide reports
  • Schedule and close deliveries
  • Assist with pricing, tagging, promotions, and organization as needed
  • Schedule service calls
  • Make daily calls to customers (delivery updates/confirmations, pick-ups, thank you, and follow-ups)

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Strong professional communication skills (bilingual is a plus)
  • Possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common publications related to the field of expertise (sales & finance contracts, delivery orders, etc.)
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or vendors
  • Ability to calculate figures (discounts, interest, commission, percentages, area, etc.)
  • Be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds, regularly
  • Possess computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, and Windows)
