Willingness to travel is REQUIRED within the Massachusetts South Coast Area.

(Must be prepared to travel between multiple locations; Westport serves as the Corporate Office Location)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assume full responsibilities, including those of General Manager, for each assigned hotel property.

Provide support through mentoring, coaching, counseling, team building, and performance evaluation.

Conduct daily and weekly oversight of all hotel operations at the designated location.

Engage in the formulation of Hotel Marketing Plans, property enhancement strategies, and operational and capital budgets for the assigned hotel.

  • Review financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Participate in the Revenue Management process for the assigned hotel.
  • Assist sales personnel at the assigned property to ensure the achievement of objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly assessments to evaluate the success of the sales bonus plan.
  • Engage in company-wide sales initiatives; monitor and assist in the development and execution of the sales strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to human resources policies and procedures.
  • Represent the organization by engaging with the business community.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the management company.
  • Support new General Managers by providing training and onboarding as assigned across the Lafrance Hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to be mobile and relocate to properties as assigned.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the hotel industry.
  • Strong business acumen to assist in the overall development of the company.
  • Effective managerial and team-building skills to lead an employee group successfully.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with vendors, employees, and others in support of business goals.
