Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Assistant Specialist. As a key member of our ophthalmology department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examination and diagnostic testing. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare exam rooms for patients, maintaining instruments and equipment
• Prepare patients for physician's exam, performing testing based on patient needs and physician preference
• Assist in organizing and planning of patient care and follow-up, including major/minor procedures and diagnostic testing
• Maintain operating room according to sterile technique, scrubbing, gowning, and gloving procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Current Ophthalmic Assistant Certification (COA, COT, or COMT) or certification eligible with commitment to obtain within one year
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of clinical experience in ophthalmology or completion of an accredited program in ophthalmology may substitute for experience requirement
