Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Mobility Specialist to join our healthcare team at Houston Methodist Hospital. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with clinical staff to provide top-notch patient care, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Patient Care: Assist patients with transferring, exercising, and participating in daily living activities, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Infection Prevention: Implement and maintain strict infection control measures, including hand hygiene protocols and equipment sterilization procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Contribute to quality improvement efforts by collecting data, managing supply inventories, and streamlining workflows.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of high school or equivalent education.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Patient Care Assistant/Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital or long-term acute care hospital, or six months of therapy experience, or completion of the first clinical rotation as a nursing student.
  • Certifications and Licenses: BLS certification (AHA).
Compensation Package:

Annual salary range: $51,250 - $61,000.
